All metal aerobatic monoplane, powered by 360hp Vedeneyev M-14P with custom 3-bladed propeller. Russian Thunder is the first production Yak-54, serial number 01002, built in 1996. It is the only Yak-54 currently flying in the United States, and one of only a handful built.
